Bringing people together
The ISIC seminars series have been created as a mean to promote scientific discussion inside our institute and with all other researchers at EPFL. Each year, speakers are invited in important research fields covered at ISIC, selected by faculty members for their excellence in science and their ability to promote their research in the broader scientific community.
Organic Chemistry Seminars (CH-621)
Organized jointly by Professors Nicolai Cramer, Jieping Zhu and Jerome Waser, the seminars usually take place on Wednesday at 17:15. Unless indicated otherwise, the lecture takes place in BCH 2218.
Physical Chemistry Seminars
The Physical Chemistry Seminar Series at ISIC is organized by Prof. Ulrich Lorenz
Unless it is otherwise specified, the seminars take place on Thursday at 16.30 in BCH 2201.
Chemical Engineering Seminars (ChE-601)
The Chemical Engineering Seminar Series is Organized By Prof. Jeremy Luterbacher and takes place every other Friday at 16:15 in CH B3 30, unless otherwise indicated. It is followed by an Apéro at 17:30.
Highlights in Energy Research (ChE-605)
The seminar series “Highlights in Energy Research” is organized by Professor Züttel from EPFL Valais Wallis and takes place every other Thursday at 10:30 – 11:30 in the Zeusier room at the 4th floor in Energypolis in Sion. Chemical Biology Seminars (CH-629)
The Chemical Biology Seminars Series is Organized By Prof. Christian Heinis and Prof. Beat Fierz. It takes place every Tuesday at 16:15 unless otherwise indicated.
